Excelsior Legion Baseball has hosted a premier multi-state tournament for junior level team for over fifteen years typically over the third weekend in June. Teams have competed from Canada, Montana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio as well as Minnesota. With two turf fields, teams know that no matter how far they travel to get here, only the worst weather cancel a game. Team parents and community volunteers do a great job helping with scoring, tickets, concessions, and field management.

- Field Directors - assigned to each field
- Host teams - Excelsior Junior Legion and the Minnetonka Bulldogs
- Entries - twenty (20) teams divided into four pools
- Pool play - each team plays every other team in the pool once during Thursday through Saturday
- Home Team - Each game has home and away teams designated in advance by the Tournament. Minnetonka teams will always play as the home team.
- Rank play - teams are ranked by a formula to be matched for ranking games played on Sunday. The formula is displayed at Veterans Field along with the posted .
- Final Four - the top four teams play a championship round that determines the champion
- Games - eighteen teams will play five games, two teams will play six games
